This is a 3 bedroom villa with a separate annex, sleeping up to 8 people. There is a large swimming pool.

This very private, quiet detached villa which has breathtaking sea and mountain views is situated above the village of Benidoleig overlooking the orange groves. A car is essential with the village centre ( served by several bars, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy etc ) about a 3 minute drive away. The coast is about 10 minutes away and the very stylish resort of Denia, with its castle, port, beaches, shops and restaurants is about 15 minutes away. In the opposite direction lies the wine region of the Jalon with its’ beautiful almond blossom and walking terraine. This villa is exactly midway between Alicante and Valencia airports which is about a one hour drive away. This villa is not suitable for children as the pool in an integral part of the property. There is a tennis court within walking distance and can used used for a small fee.

Accommodation

Lounge \ Dining room: A large lounge\dining room with bay window views over the valley to the coast. There is an open fireplace, TV (limited channels ), CD player, video player, DVD Player, bar and telephone ( local use only ).

Kitchen / Diner: This new kitchen\diner has lovely views into the mountains and comprises a fridge\freezer, a four gas ring burner, gas kettle, electric toaster, microwave and double sink.

Bedroom 1: This bedroom is more like a suite and is downstairs via an enclosed spiral staircase. It has a very large king-size bed, double wardrobes and 2 armchairs. The ensuite bathroom has a corner bath, 2 basins, bidet and toilet. There are french doors giving direct access outside to a staircase leading up to the pool.

Bedroom 2: A twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes and bedside units. This room has a pretty ensuite bathroom with shower, bidet, basin and toilet.

Bedroom 3: A double bedroom overlooking the patio with built-in wardrobes and an adjacent bathroom with bath\shower, bidet, washbasin and toilet.

Outside: The views from the pool and patio area are unsurpassed looking over the orange groves to the mountain range opposite and out to sea. This property benefits from its 500m height above sea level for the views and the welcomed breeze that sometimes accompanies it. This property features a large 12 x 8 pool with walk-in steps, a built-in BBQ and bar area with wash basin and a covered patio. All sun loungers and outside furniture are provided. There are 2 points of access to the villa, one is directly into the kitchen and the other is via the pool / patio area.

Annexe - La Casita: This is a newly built separate annex which would suit a nanny, grandparents or just other guests. It has a twin bedded room, bathroom with shower, bidet washbasin and a lounge with a sofa bed. (This is the owners office with broadband connection. E-mail, Web and Skype, WiFi facilities can be arranged on request).

Changeover day: Saturday is changeover day and the villa should be vacated by mid morning and arrivals are welcome from mid afternoon. This property operates on a partially serviced basis since guests are requested to treat it as the owners home and leave it as you would expect to find it hence the remarkably reasonable charges.

All linen is provided and there is a washing machine located in a separate room by the pool pump room.

Booking notes: A deposit of £200 is required on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.

Airports: Both Alicante and Valencia airports are approximately 1 hours drive away.

Car hire: ESSENTIAL since this property is not on an estate and is situated 500m above sea level hence its’ private nature and position. Many hire companies operate from these airports and most also have offices in Denia. A car is a welcome asset since it gives you the chance to sample restaurants in the mountains otherwise inaccessible and to visit the wealth of other opportunities in the area.

Car hire can be arranged for you with a reputable company who have a desk on the Arrivals Terminal at Alicante Airport and facilities at Valencia. Payment can be made in advance or on your arrival. Click here for details.
