Stay in our charming Gite recently converted to the highest standard from a centuries old stone building. It sleeps 2 - 3 people.
Accommodation
Open plan kitchen/dining/living room.
Built in Fridge freezer, hob, oven and extractor. Dishwasher. Coffee maker, kettle and toaster and everything you need for up to three people.
Pine dining table and chairs and futon which opens into a 3'6" bed. English satellite TV and DVD. Wi-Fi internet also available.
Also on the ground floor is a utility area with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Separate luxury modern bathroom with bath, separate shower unit, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with oak beams, double bed and walk in wardrobe, small writing table and chair.

Outside: The views from the pool and patio area are unsurpassed looking over the orange groves to the mountain range opposite and out to sea. This property benefits from its 500m height above sea level for the views and the welcomed breeze that
sometimes accompanies it. This property features a large 12 x 8 pool with walk-in steps, a built-in BBQ and bar
area with wash basin and a covered patio. All sun loungers and outside furniture are provided. There are 2 points
of access to the villa, one is directly into the kitchen and the other is via the pool / patio area.
Smoking is not allowed inside the buildings

Airports
There are several airports within easy travel from Plenee Jugon
Caen has a small airport with flights to Lyon and Nice and Shoreham, Sussex. It also has car rental facilities and is about 2.5 hours drive. Skysouth is based in Shoreham-by-sea
Dinard is closer at 44km (40 minutes drive) and is served by RyanAir to East Midlands and Stansted, and Auringy with services to Guernsey and on to Bristol, Jersey, Manchester, Stansted and Gatwick.
Rennes airport is about 70km (60 minutes drive). Air France have a shuttle from Paris and other airports in France. Aerlingus have flight to Dublin and FlyBe to Newcastle, Southampton, Exeter, Manchester, Belfast and Edinburgh. Iberia have a flight to Madrid.
Ferries
There are several Ferry ports in easy driving distance from Plenee Jugon as well. Caen is one of the easiest and 2.5 hours drive from here. Brittany Ferries is a good professional ferry company but it is more expensive. The crossings are good and the overnight Portsmouth to Caen ferry gets you here for late breakfast. To save cabin fees you could also take the afternoon Portsmouth to Caen ferry. Brittany ferries operate a service to Cherbourg, this also goes from Poole. Lastly from Brittany Ferries you can take the Plymouth to Roscoff. Portsmouth to St Malo is also good and is only 45 minutes from here..
LD Lines and Transmanche Ferries have good services. Newhaven to Dieppe or La Havre. They are a lot cheaper than Brittany but Dieppe is about 4.5 hours drive although this is mainly on motorway. LD have Portsmouth to La Havre, some services are summer only.
Letting the train take the strain with your car. Eurotunnel will cross the channel in minutes leaving you at Calais for a 5 hour drive to Plenee Jugon.
