Foreign nationals can own freehold property in St. Lucia (the current owner is a UK national and lives full time in the property). They do however have to apply for an Aliens Landholding Licence which is not difficult to obtain and takes a few weeks for issue. Full details can be supplied from the current owner.

The official language in St. Lucia is English.

There are several direct flights a week from the UK and USA (from Europe it is normally necessary to fly via London).

The islands currency is the East Caribbean Dollar which is linked to the United States Dollar.
